The Local Favorite Footwear!

Maybe in the mainland you would call this "Flip Flops" but here on Guam we call them "Zories".  This is one of the favorite things that local Guam people love to wear on their feet.  People where them at home, shopping, the beach and even to parties!! Sometimes I feel that a local person on Guam invented the Zorie! More of The Guam Experience as time fly's by!

Finadene ( Chamorro Sauce)

  Here is a sauce that everyone loves on Guam!  Tourist and visitors that come to Guam really love the tangy spicy taste of Finadene.  This sauce consist of Vinegar or Lemon, Soysauce, Onions and Hot peppers! This sauce is mostly used to put on your meat, rice or just about anything! If you are ever on Guam or meet any people from here ask them about our Finadene sauce! It Looks Like A Nice Day.....But!!!

Just by looking outside it looks like a nice day in the neighborhood! But according to Weather forcasters we have a monsoon that is supposed to drop 6 inches or more of rain starting tonight! So get your umbrella's out and get ready to get wet! More of The Guam Experience as time fly's by!

Go Niners!

The NFL Season is on!! Whooo Hooo!! Who is your favorite team! I am a niner faithful and always will be, but if you were to ask me who will win the Superbowl this year I would have to choose New England! Ya know we are a island in the Pacific so usually our football Sunday is actually Monday! Dont ask!! At least it is not as bad as back in the late 70s or early 80s where you dont see the game to a week later. Hahahaha..glad those days are gone!! Sundays On Guam

On Sundays are mostly spent at the beach , home or fiesta's.  On Guam fiesta's are village or district parties that happen pratically every month. People in the village have parties at various houses and invites the public to join in! Thats right you dont need to be invited!! Through the years Guam has lost this tradition, you dont see much village parties as you use too. Back in the day all most everyone in the village had a party going on during their village fiesta. You could smell the cooking from miles away!
