Here Is Something Beautiful!

Let me show you the beautiful things of Guam!  This flower is picked daily for our Chamorittas who do our island dances for the tourist and our local people.  You can find these beautiful flowers almost anywhere, but if you are a real flower lover then you should visit the Southern side of the island!  More of The Guam Experience as time fly's by!

Michael Jackson

Here on Guam the local people really love their oldies or old school if you wanna call it that.  Since Michael Jackson has passed away we have been doing our tributes to the King Of Pop!  But this is the question that I ask. Should we be charging for these tributes?  If you were donating it to a cause that Michael Jackson supports, then I dont see anything wrong with it.  I share this opinion with others that think that people shouldnt be making profits off someone who has passed.  This is not only on Guam but all over the world. So if you are planning a Michael Jackson tribute donate some of the money to his cause like " Heal the world".  More of The Guam Experience as time fly's by!

The Largest Kmart

For a small island did you know that we host the largest Kmart in the world!!  Kmart has been on Guam for more than a decade now and its been one of the favorite stores to shop on Guam.  On Guam if you are looking for a product and dont wanna pay a outrageous price for, Kmart will be the first place most people will check first.  Its just funny that a small island that hardly anyone from the U.S. knows about has the largest Kmart. Also at one point Guam had the largest Mcdonalds!! Hahahaha.....go figure!!  More of The Guam Experience as time fly's by!

Looked out the window and it looks like more of the same, meaning partly cloudy with a chance of showers.

Here At Work

Looks like its gonna be a busy Friday for me today at the radio station. One thing that is a good start for my day today is that I finally might be able to get this one piece of equipment working after several months of trying to figure it out!! I have my fingers cross!! Yup thats right, I work for a very popular radio station here on Guam. If you like the 70s - 90s then this station is for you!  More of The Guam Experience as time fly's by!

33 Schools Close!

 Sometimes you will experience the good of Guam but sometimes I will also give you the down and outs of our beautiful island! Today in the news they say that 33 schools on Guam have closed due to no lunches. Hmmmm..........did someone drop the ball again?  Not only that we cant feed the kids at the schools but they just lost of couple of days of the big "E" education!!  I think we gotta really think what is priority on Guam and deal with it right away without question. Local Morning Breakfast

No its not Denny's or Mcdonalds, its mini marts like Harmon Mart or Chode Mart! On Guam mornings are spent racing to these mini stores that have local snacks and hot foods. From Goverment workers to Radio personalities head to these mini marts that serve hot soups, sandwiches, cakes and spicy goodies!  At these mini marts you have to be a early bird or you really lose the worm! My favorites are the Tortilla wraps and soups. So if you are ever on Guam you gotta visit these mini marts with the local goodies!! Restaurants I Wanna See On Guam!

Here on Guam we have a good selection of restaurants and fast food establishments that serve the island of Guam.  I personally would like to see these favorite places of mine here on Guam like Pioneer Chicken, Bikuri Donkey from Japan and Der Weinersnitchel ( Did I spell that right)?  Not trying to put down the food places that we already have on Guam, I just would like to see these particular places on Guam...hint...hint! To a look outside my office today saw clouds and more clouds!! Guam weather is so unpredictable its a wonder why we have a weather report at all!  Tourist that come to Guam think Im crazy when I tell them that sometimes it rain on one side of the street but not on the other!!
